28 Books To Help Get Your Mind Right In 2018

This year, I'm making reading a priority.

I created a pretty dope reading list last year that - I'll be honest - had the chance to read only eight titles. However, this year, I am focused on achieving the goal of reading TWENTY BOOKS, and more than content with spending more time with my nose stuck in a book instead of spending hours aimlessly scrolling on Twitter or Instagram. #SorryNotSorry

Last night's #TimesUp demonstration of solidarity and sisterhood at the Golden Globes also inspired me to create this list of 28 books by 28 women authors. From the much anticipated novel from writer Morgan Jerkins, to modern classics from Natalie Baszile and Elizabeth Gilbert, to spiritual guidance tools by Priscilla Shirer and Sarah Jakes Roberts, I hope that this list will leave you encouraged, lifted and motivated to make this the best year yet! I'll be sharing #My2018Reads throughout the year on Twitter and Instagram, so make sure to follow the hashtag for updates!

Oh! And if you're on Good Reads, let's be friends!
